Gloucester Public School is nestled at the foot of the spectacular Bucketts Mountains and services the rural community of Gloucester NSW.
We use modern technology including interactive whiteboards (picture at right).
In term three (2010), several students were selected from Stage Two to take part in a writing enrichment program. This incorporated a series of five video conferences with some well-known authors set up by the New England Writers Centre in Armidale and involving schools from all over the state.
The students used the ideas discussed as stimulus for their own writing in the lessons that followed.
Molly Danton’s narrative, titled ‘Magic Mind’, was submitted and was deemed to be of high enough quality for publication. Congratulations Molly!
