New England Writers’ Centre Incorporated (NEWC) is assisted by the NSW Government through Arts NSW - and is a member of LitLink NSW.
NEWC aims to promote writing and reading through a program of events including readings, seminars, workshops and tours.
The Youth Online (YOL) project takes writing skills to youth in the New England region—particularly in isolated areas—via video-conferencing and smartboards.
The work of local writers is showcased in our Newsletter and on the website, and has been published in two anthologies.

NEWC membership is open to anyone of any age, new and established writers, and readers too! It is for people who love reading and writing.
Members receive five newsletters (eight pages or more) per year, plus concessions on most events.
Full annual membership including GST is:
